We are pleased to announce the second year of our USA summer camp Study Abroad program for students visiting from outside of the United States. Kids Digital U is located just outside Cambridge, MA, home to some of the finest universities in the world including Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (or “MIT”) and Boston University.

Our first Summer Study Abroad program was an enormous success. This coming summer of 2019 (just like last year) students will attend our 3D Summer Tech Camp, ranked the #1 STEM program in Greater Boston (one of the most competitive academic markets in the United States) during the stay and experience historic Boston and all of its American culture during the evenings and over one very fun weekend. Evening trips will include watching the Boston Red Sox, visiting Cambridge’s Museum of Science and the New England Aquarium. Over the weekend kids visit either the beaches of Cape Cod, MA or the beautiful lakes of New Hampshire. We will also visit & tour 8 area colleges including Harvard University, MIT, Boston University, Brown University, Boston College, Dartmouth, Amherst College and the University of Massachusetts (these tours are completely optional). We can also arrange visits to other area schools of your child’s choice.

As a specific example, we could find no other summer tech program in the Greater Boston area that uses motion capture technology in a basic 3D character design & animation curriculum. For parents who want to travel with their children, students will stay at the Needham Sheraton hotel which is a 2 minute drive from our facilities (and a 15 minute walk for students who want to take a brisk walk before and/or after our camp). Our 3D Summer Tech Camp officially runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (students may arrive as early as 7:30 AM and stay until 6:00 PM). Kids have all breakfasts & most dinners at the hotel and we will have lunch catered daily. There will also be an optional but strongly encouraged social event for all program attendees on the last Thursday evening of our programs.
